Who We Are

Amber Custom is an interior millwork shop serving the Greater Vancouver area. We take on scopes that need fast turnaround, clear drawings, and solid execution — all built in-house from shop drawings to finishing.

How We Do

Fast Turnaround

In-house fabrication means tighter control and fewer delays — even on short timelines.

Proven Experience

We've delivered in homes, banks, clinics, retail, public, and institutional spaces — with demanding specs.

Detail-Oriented Execution

We read and make drawings carefully, flag issues early, and fabricate with install in mind — reducing surprises on site.

Cost Effective

By managing everything in one shop, we reduce handoff risk and keep pricing accurate to the work — not inflated by process.

Flexible Capabilities

From bent wood to solid surface forming, we handle complex millwork scopes with ease.

Flexible Mid-Project Change

We adapt to late changes without needing to restart a subcontractor chain.

Minimal Risk, Maximum Accountability

No subcontracted finishers or outsourced pieces — if something’s off, it’s our fix.

Small Job Friendly

We treat smaller scopes with the same care as full packages — because trust is built project by project.

Our Facilities

By keeping key machinery in-house, we reduce delays, adapt to spec changes mid-stream, and ensure every component fits the site as drawn. That means fewer subcontractor risks, cleaner installs, and no surprises for your site team.

  • Edge bander: applies edge treatment to panels quickly and consistently — ensures clean finishes, saves manual labor, and keeps parts install-ready.

  • Cold press: used for laminating panels and veneering with uniform pressure — essential for flat, stable surfaces and strong adhesion without heat distortion.

  • Vacuum press with heat oven: ued to form curved panels and bend solid surface materials — essential for producing shaped vanities, wrapped features, and one-off architectural elements with precision and consistency.

  • CNC router: precision-cutting for parts, panels, and one-off details — ensures accuracy, repeatability, and clean edges across complex millwork scopes. Ideal for fast, install-ready fabrication.

  • Spray booth: in-house lacquer finishing for consistent color, controlled quality, and schedule reliability — no delays from outside finishers, and no mismatched panels on site.

  • Solid wood machines: We produce custom solid wood components in-house — from trims and profiles to full-size elements like tables, seating, and feature details.
